Filling dinners for $15 or less in Port Macquarie

We're talking pizza, pasta, chicken schnitzels, grilled fish, falafel bowls and more.

The cost of living is hitting us all hard, and so we’ve created a list of dinners in Port Macquarie every night of the week for $15 or less. And yes, we mean actual meals.

In our list you will not find hot chips or garden salads, no fast-food chains, or single sushi rolls.

Turns out pubs and taverns are the best bet for meal deals, including $15 pub classics, “2-4-1” menus, $12 for three tacos, and cheap pizzas.

If you want to know where to find a cheap carb-loaded meal, read on.

Nothing on the menu is over $15 on Mondays at Settlers Inn.

🟡 Settlers Inn

Every Monday night the entire menu at Settlers Inn is $15 or less – all burgers, tacos, salads and bowls, and pub classics like bangers and mash, chicken schnitzel and fish and chips. If you’re in the mood for seafood, the $15 deal also includes the grilled barramundi and miso salmon.

The venue also does $5 tacos on Sundays.

🟡 Fernhill Tavern

If you’re looking for filling meals for $15 or less, Fernhill Tavern has you sorted for the entire week with its specials and regular menu.

Mondays from 5:30pm, check the specials board for the $14 pasta.

There’s also $12 taco Tuesdays from 5.30pm, and no it’s not just one taco it’s — three! $4 each! That has to be a record in this day and age.

Wednesday nights are for $15 Schnittys, served with chips and salad from 5.30pm

There’s “2 for 1 meals” on Thursdays from 5pm. So if you’re splitting two large pizzas between two people, for example, you’re looking at an average of $10 each.

On any night, you can grab the majority of the regular sized pizzas for $15 or less, including their signature range like the Falafel Supreme, Sweet Chilli Chicken or Fire Breather pizzas. Perhaps you’re in the mood for a classic garlic or cheese pizza ( $14 for a large and $10 for a small) or a margherita (small $14).

The Caesar Salad is another $15 option, but you have to pay a few extra bucks if you want to add chicken or prawns.
